'Alchemy' - Scottish Glass Society


Several of our members (full, associate and evening club) are exhibiting work at the Scottish Glass Society's annual exhibition which is open between 11am - 4pm Wednesday 17th to Wednesday 24th September 2025.  There is a wonderful selection of work to see (and maybe buy) and is well worth the visit.

'Art on the A-Frame; Glasgow 850'

Our studio members Petra Coolins, Pamela Freedman, Steven Graham , Tim Kirman, Catherine Lowe, Caroline Meek, Geraldine McSporran , Sarah Lack and Karen Shakespeare, in addition to some of our evening club members, have new work on display.  Our members are also assisting with hands on demonstrations and fun family activities.

 
The Scottish Glass Society is celebrating the 850th anniversary of the City of Glasgow with this, its first Art on the A-Frame exhibition.    “Art on the A-Frame; Glasgow 850” — is a tribute to the city’s rich heritage and its ongoing journey. Whether it’s a nod to Glasgow’s industrial past, its cultural renaissance, or its modern identity as a hub of art and innovation.
